LOWER NORFOLK COUNTY, VA – A single-vehicle crash early Wednesday, July 31, in southwest Virginia Beach resulted in the deaths of two passengers and the arrest of the driver.
According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, the accident happened in the 2900 block of Shipps Corner Road, prompting an emergency response shortly after 12:32 a.m.
It’s unclear at this time what caused the wreck, but officers arrived on the scene to find two passengers inside the vehicle. Both victims, aged 32 and 49, both of Virginia Beach, were pronounced deceased shortly after.
