LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA – A 22-year-old woman from Herndon died late Friday night as a result of a two-vehicle collision in southeast Ashburn that left at least two other people injured.
The fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Ashburn Village Road and Fultonham Circle, prompting an emergency response at about 10:15 p.m.
Officials said the Herndon woman was driving a red Honda Civic sedan when she was involved in a wreck with another driver in a white Toyota Highland SUV.
The Herndon woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
First responders had the driver and other occupants of the Toyota transported to an area hospital for unspecified injuries.
